Greetings one and all. We have survived our first week in our new classroom and are doing very well.

In Litereacy this term we will revisit letter names and their sounds as well as continue with our sight words- especially those little joining words that kids seem to skip over, reading different text genres and for different purposes.

This week our focus was on letter Aa, reading Letter Getter loves Letter Aa on the Sunshine On line Books site, on the Interactive Whiteboard. All the chilren responded so well and could identify lots of letter Aa's in different texts around the room by the end of the week.
