Hi everyone
Well, we are beginning week 4 of term 2.
We have welcomed Will and Arigon to our class and are delighted to get to know them. Both are very happy individuals and bring different persectives to our group.
This week we will be practising our greetings to other people and answering appropriately. So, Mums and Dads, you may find your child is now saying or signing things like, 'G'day, hello, hi,How are you going? Goodmorning, good afternoon, see you, bye,' just to name a few.
Learning to look and listen to someone talking to us is quite a challenge for some, even harder to reply either by gesture ( smile, wave), to use appropriate words or signing.
The children and I would love to receive comments and replies. If you visit this site we would love to have a message from you. Check out Peep and the Big Wide World. It's a great site for parents and teachers of young children.
Joy will be teaching some of the time this week as I head off for my curriculum work on our special schools curriculum task force.
Have a good week everyone.
