On Friday we concluded our two weeks of 'red' activities with red spider drinks made from aerated cranberry juice- no artificial colours, preservatives or additives, with a dollop of icecream. Stirred and delicious to drink.
We also made red fruit sundaes trying some cranberries, raspberries and our favourites- strawberries. All topped off with more icecream and a pure fruit topping.
It was scrumptious to say the least. Some children prefer fruit without icecream which is of course the healthier option.
Not everyone enjoyed the cranberries by themselves, but mixed in with the other berries they added a nice flavour and boost of vitamin c.
