We have begun exploring all things yellow this week.
This will involve tasting, feeling and smelling yellow fruits - (we love mangoes!),
Painting in yellow, printing in yellow, writing our name and other names that have a 'y' in them.
We will find lots of different yellow things, sing, dream, dance, dress up in and think yellow!
Even after two days of 'yellow' the children are already looking and seeking out yellow things for themselves.
We have begun reading "The Cake that Mack Ate" and have found all the key characters or objects are, you guessed it, yellow!
We have constructed sentences about the characters using a sight vocabulary that we have been gradually increasing.
The children are also doing lots of colour matching, sorting, labelling and signing.
We will keep you posted with the fun things we are doing as the week goes by.
