Hi to everyone,
Hope you have enjoyed visiting our blog. I have added a new site to explore Primary Interactive, under Sites We Love. Thanks to Marg who found this site and passed it on to us.
Sue,our student teacher, has just completed fours weeks of teaching practicum with us.
In this last week Sue planned an excellent unit of work around the story Belinda by Pamela Allen. Sue had the children dress up and retell the story, linking it to our theme of masks. We went for a drive in search of cows so the children could experience cows as close as we could possibly get. We ended up finding lots of different types of cows and so now have a new research topic. Sue introduced a big book on Milk which led us to make butter and icecream. We all loved this!! Thanks to Sue for all her hard work and great ideas. We wish her well as she goes on to become a teacher in her own right next year.
