Hi Sue and all our families,

We had a fantastic time at the swim carnival. We were especially delighted to see William's family present, including his Grandparents.

Daniel was our champion swimmer for the day and even went down the water slide by himself.

It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm and participation by all students.

We had great fun cheering on the senior students in the 50 metre pool doing lap races and playing many games ourselves in the small pool.

It was a great day.

We have had some wonderful successes in other activities too.

Jack and Drew were quite tentative about horse riding initially but are now happily sitting on the horses and riding with confidence, just like Connor and Daniel.

Camron has settled beautifully into our school after having recently changed schools.

We are delighted with William who is beginning to use words to communicate as well as his delightful smile and gestures.

Marshall was first to want to tell a story to the group this morning during Chat time. He is quite theatrical and enjoys an audience.

Blade is doing great reading and story retells. He is now beginning to sit very well on the bus on the way home from school.

Term 1 is nearly finished and we have had such a busy, but enjoyable time, getting to know such interesting little people.

We have also had the pleasure of meeting each child's family and learning about the fantastic support each has.

Some parents and a grandmother have assisted with Horse riding which has been invaluable.

We believe in community at our school and rely on everyone working together as a team to help support and nuture each and every child.
