Hi all

Here I am on holidays in Merimbula, thinking of term 4 and all the things we need to do before the end of the year.

We are so proud of our boys and girls and how far they have all come this year.

In term 4 we hope to see some consolidation of skills and to see some transference of these skills to other settings and conditions, irrespective of the staff. Quite a challenge!

We will begin our excursions for the term by going to the gym for another two weeks. This has been such a worthwhile program that we are reluctant to stop. However, as the children will also be swimming this term we will give the gym a rest until next year.

One of our most exciting developments at the gym has been to see children who find movement difficult, climb up onto the balance beam and walk with increasing confidence- some completely independently by the end of our six week sessions. Wow! Just blows you away to see what our children are capable of when given the opportunity.

We look forward to seeing equally great things at our up and coming swimming lessons.
