As you all know now, we have explored the colour black this week.

Today we were lucky enough to have Rachel and Jacob, Yr 12 Graduate volunteers who have been coming to our room all year to help in our room when their study breaks allow.

Rachel brought her black kitten, Jazz, in for us to see.

We read the story of "Slinky Malinky" by Lynley Dodd, sang songs about black cats, collaged a cat practising our cutting skills and then had fun with Jazz the kitten.

He was very active and provided us with lots of opportunities to see what cats do best. He climbed our furniture, sprang from one object to another, purred, licked himself clean, played with our dangly toys and generally investigated our room.
